Saving Gaia - Join The World, Do Your Part Today

World Water Day is on 22 March of each year. The United Nations Conference on Environment and Development designated this day as World Water Day to increase awareness on the importance of preserving Earth's water resources. The first World Water Day was first observed in 1993.

Something to think about. Many people across the globe do not have access to clean drinking water that many others take for granted. So spare a thought the next time you turn on the tap. Learn to save water.

Do you know how much water you actually consume each day? Besides the water we drink, the food that we eat require water to produce. For example, 1 kg of beef require 15,000 litres to produce. 1 kg of wheat on the hand require 1,500 litres. Choosing the right food will help to reduce water consumption. So on World Water Day, you are also encourage to think about how to reduce your water consumption.
